Place de la Madeleine that the first private Parisian museum opened its doors in June 2007, the brainchild of the art historian Marc Restellini. Set on three floors, the Pinacoth\u00e8que de Paris holds temporary exhibitions on an international scale, which do not shrink from re-thinking the usual field of art history. These events examine periods and areas, which are rarely explored and usually compartmentalized, ranging from archaeology to contemporary art.<\/p>\n<p>Through this novel approach, the Pinacoth\u00e8que de Paris seeks to make art accessible to as many people as possible.
